As an admin, you have the ability to record manual membership payments directly in AMP. This ensures that all dues are tracked accurately and that member statuses are kept up to date.
When to Use
This workflow is particularly useful when a member opts to pay for their membership using a check instead of making an online payment.
Instructions
Follow these simple steps to record a manual membership payment:
Login at https://nysaaa.finalforms-amp.com/.
Click on MANAGE > MEMBERS.
Search for the member by name.
Click the $ Payment icon.
Select Pay & Renew.
Check the boxes next to the appropriate fees.
Check the External Payment box.
Enter the Amount and any special notes (e.g., check number).
Click SUBMIT PAYMENT.

Q: Does the system automatically update membership status after check submission?
A: Yes! Once the payment is recorded, the member’s status will automatically update to “Active.”
Q: Can I record partial payments?
A: Absolutely! You can enter the amount received and leave the remaining fees unchecked for tracking purposes.
